Swedish Supplements Vitamin D3 is a high-dose food supplement with 4000 IU per tablet. The vitamin consists of cholecalciferol, the active form of vitamin D.
Vitamin D contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system and to the maintenance of normal bone and muscle function. Vitamin D is produced when the skin is exposed to the sun's rays. During the dark season, vitamin D deficiency may occur.
